What does the 100% satisfaction guarantee actually cover?

Everything. If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, we replace the entire order free of charge — not a partial credit, not store credit, and not only the part you had a problem with. The whole order, shipped again at our cost.

What is the difference between feminized and autoflowering seeds?

Feminized means the seed is bred to produce a female plant, so you are not pulling males out of your room. Autoflowering means the plant starts flowering on its own schedule rather than waiting for a light-cycle change. Nearly everything we sell is feminized; the autoflowers are feminized too, they just run on their own clock.

Are landrace seeds feminized?

No. Landrace lines are sold as regular seed, so roughly half come out male. That is deliberate — you need both sexes to breed with them, and a landrace you cannot breed from is not much use as a landrace.

How should I store seeds I am not planting yet?

Cool, dark and dry — an airtight container in the fridge is ideal, and the mylar or vial we ship in already does most of that job. Stored properly, cannabis seed stays viable for years. Heat, light, moisture and temperature swings are what kill it.

Do you ship discreetly?

Yes. Plain, unbranded outer packaging with no reference to the contents anywhere on the label. Tracked and insured, and we avoid routing through extreme heat or cold where we can.

Know your law before you buy

Cannabis seed is legal to buy in some places, restricted in others, and prohibited in the rest. The rules change by country, by state, and sometimes by county. Checking yours is the one step we can't take for you.

Pennsylvania — not available

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture classifies Cannabis sativa as a prohibited noxious weed seed under 7 Pa. Code §111.22(8). Selling or offering it for sale inside the Commonwealth violates the Pennsylvania Seed Act (3 Pa.C.S.A. §§7101–7122).

Seedtiva has removed Pennsylvania from its shipping destinations. We do not sell, ship or offer Cannabis sativa seed to any address in Pennsylvania.

Check your own jurisdiction

A shipment that leaves our facility lawfully can still be unlawful to receive. You are responsible for knowing the law where you live. Before ordering, confirm:

  • Whether possessing cannabis seed is lawful in your state, province or country
  • Whether receiving cannabis seed by mail carries restrictions where you live
  • Whether a licence, registration or medical card is required first
  • Whether your state lists cannabis seed as a noxious or prohibited weed seed
  • For international orders, whether customs permits seed imports at all

State agriculture departments, cannabis control boards and customs authorities publish this. Where the answer isn't clear, ask a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. We can't give legal advice, and nothing on this site is legal advice.

What we do and don't control

We control where we ship. We block destinations we're prohibited from serving, we decline orders bound for restricted addresses, and we say plainly on this page where we can't go.

We don't control what happens after delivery. Possession, transport and any subsequent use fall under your local law, and buying from us is not permission for any of it. If your jurisdiction prohibits cannabis seed, don't order.

Staying current as rules change

Cannabis regulation moves constantly. Legislatures amend statutes, agriculture departments revise noxious weed lists, and courts reinterpret what was settled a year ago. A seed bank that set its policies once and walked away would be out of compliance within a season.

Seedtiva reviews the jurisdictions we ship to on an ongoing basis and adjusts where we sell as the rules move. When a regulator tells us we've got something wrong, we correct it and update this page rather than wait to be compelled. That's why this notice carries a review date, and why the list of places we can't serve may grow or shrink over time.
